Hormones are a part of life, but all too often hormonal imbalances are ignored or overlooked.

Many women experience significant symptoms that affect their quality of life and confidence unnecessarily. We believe in a whole 360° approach, covering hormones, nutrition and wellness, with early intervention and tailored care.

02

We offer a full range of evidence-based therapies,

and every treatment is assessed individually and if required we can share your results with your NHS GP.

03

You can self-refer and book directly without going through your NHS GP.

What we help with

Specialist attention for the topics that are too often left unaddressed. Hot flushes brain fog mood swings low energy, weight that won't shift, sleep that won't hold are only a few symptoms of hormonal imbalance. An in-depth consultation starts with listening followed by investigating.

  • Perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
  • PCOS, premature ovarian insufficiency
  • Thyroid disease, detected early and managed carefully
  • Hormonal hair loss and thinning
  • Vaginal health, libido and intimate wellness
  • Testosterone replacement where indicated

Your first consultation

During your consultation we listen to your experience, understand how your body feels and log any changes you have noticed, whether in your libido, energy, health, self-esteem or appearance. We take a detailed medical and symptom history and review your reproductive and health background.

We then assess which investigations you may need, such as blood hormone panels for oestrogen and testosterone, thyroid tests and bone health and DUTCH hormone testing where functional information is useful. *

From there we assess which investigations you may need and design a personalised plan.

  • Blood hormone panels for oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone
  • Thyroid tests, adrenal and full hormone panel
  • Bone health screening (DEXA)
  • DUTCH hormone testing, where functional information is useful
  • Saliva or urine testing where appropriate

Treatment options

Where needed, compounded hormones from regulated UK pharmacies (Specialist Pharmacy and Roseway Labs) are an option, usually as pessaries, suppositories or lozenges, though not as a first-line treatment.

  • Bespoke hormone replacement therapy (HRT), testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) including body-identical options (rBHRT)
  • Local vaginal treatments
  • Non-hormonal alternatives
  • Prevention checks, including DEXA scans, mammograms and ultrasound where indicated
  • Lifestyle support: nutrition, bone health and metabolic care

Support with or without HRT

Not all women need or are able to have HRT but still need support. Personalised advice on diet, exercise, supplementation and bone health can have a tremendous positive impact.

Results and follow-up

Many patients notice improvements in symptoms such as hot flushes within four to eight weeks. Mood and bone density can take longer. We typically review you after three to four months to assess how treatment is working, then move to annual or semi-annual follow ups when symptoms are balanced.
