Meyer Clinic is a forward-thinking clinic, passionate about women’s health, offering an integrated service to all our patients. Our founder and medical director Dr Annelize Meyer has always focused on establishing excellent patient relations from the offset. Combining patient relations with the collaborative, knowledge sharing, close-nit team he has created, the Meyer Clinic can deliver an effective prevention-focused approach to female health.
Female Health Checks at the Meyer Clinic
Preventative medicine and female health is our primary focus at the Meyer Clinic, however to effectively prevent female health issues from arising, regular checks are vital. Our health checks are designed to give you the opportunity to openly discuss any health concerns you may be experiencing; whether it be hormone related, or concerns with your vitamin levels, our team are always happy to help.
What does a Female Health Check involve?
Once you have discussed your concerns with one of our experienced doctors, we will focus on hormone, vitamin, cholesterol and mineral screening, as well as preventative genetic testing. Part of our health check involves a physical examination, and if requested, cervical screening.
If our doctors conclude post-check that further testing is required, for example mammograms or ultrasounds, we will refer you privately and quickly and then review you back in our clinic. At times, additional consultant care may be required, in which case we will refer you on, and can send your NHS GP a letter regarding your consultation if desired.
The utmost importance of our female health checks is to identify and prevent any problems from arising in order to keep you happy and in good health.
Regular health checks are essential for effective identification and prevention of female health issues. To book a female health check with one of our doctors, call us on 01243 778888
