The neck and decolletage are as important as the face as indicators to a person’s true age and we often do not apply the same care and attention to our neck and decolletage when applying our skin care regime. These areas are also prone to frequent sun exposure, increasing signs of premature ageing, including skin discolouration and age spots and changes in the skin texture with fine or deeper wrinkles and skin laxity.

Meyer Clinic is able to improve and rejuvenate this area using a combination of treatments including laser, polynucleotides (which work at a deep level to repair the DNA of skin cells and encourage the natural production of elastin and collagen), skin boosters, Ultherapy (Ultrasound technology) and or exosomes (regenerative cellular repair), to support an even tone and younger looking skin.

Exosome Therapy

Exosome Therapy forms part of Meyer Clinic regenerative medicine approach and allows us to support treatment in clinic with a homecare regime.

Exosomes are minuscule particles that are naturally released from cells and contain a mixture of lipids, proteins, amino acids, and peptides, essentially all the building blocks needed for cellular repair and their main function is to enable cell-to-cell communication. Exosomes penetrate the skin easily due to their fatty envelopes and then trigger the regeneration and production of collagen and elastin on each application, also reducing any skin discomfort and reducing inflammation during in-clinic treatment.

Ultherapy® is the leading ultrasound non-surgical treatment for lifting and tightening the skin on the face, neck, chin, brow and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.

The treatment utilises ultrasound therapy to penetrate deep into the middle layers of skin tissue to stimulate collagen and elastin production and encourage regeneration. It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial.

Polynucleotides are part of our regenerative medicine offering at Meyer Clinic, they form the building blocks for all cellular processes, were originally developed for wound care and have since been developed for use in aesthetic care. They have a potent biostimulator function acting as powerful antioxidants, they can reduce inflammation, reduce hyperpigmentation, improve healing, stimulate collagen 1 and 3 formation, improve micro-circulation, and increase elastin. They can also be used in difficult to treat areas of skin such as under the eyes and top lip.
