Welcoming you back

Appointments at Meyer Clinic post lockdown.

Getting ready to go back to work

What you need to know

We are welcoming our patients back and we want to reassure you that we have been working exceptionally hard to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice have been undertaken to ensure your safety upon returning to the clinic. As we are making changes to the clinic and the way we practice, there are also some key processes that we are asking our patients to adhere to. To keep everyone safe in and around Meyer Clinic, both for our patients and our staff, we will be introducing new processes and protocols.

Ahead of your appointment, you will be contacted, either by email or telephone, to confirm that you do not have any symptoms of coronavirus or feel unwell. If you are, we will use this opportunity to reschedule your appointment. We will also be asking you to complete and sign a consent form, confirming that you have understood the potential risks of coming in to the clinic at this time.

What to expect when you arrive

  • We are staggering our appointments to reduce the number of patients at the clinic at any one time.
  • When you first arrive for your appointment, please come in to the reception area, where a member of our staff will check you in.
  • We would ask you to please observe the strict 2metres social distancing measure and use the provided hand sanitiser.
  • We will then ask you to return to your car and drive around to the car park at the rear of the building. When we are ready for you, we will come out to collect you.
  • You will be asked to sanitise your hands again and be given a pair of protective gloves and a mask. All members of our team will be wearing PPE.
  • After your appointment, we will escort you out of the building, back to your vehicle.
  • After each appointment, we will be cleaning down our surgeries which may result in a longer wait time for your appointment. Please be patient with us.
